Football Profit System Review - How to Win Betting Football

Football or soccer betting is becoming popular in many countries. More than 95% of those people who bet on soccer lost their money. Only 5% of the punters make money. Those punters are aware of all soccer betting systems, and they know which one is the best bet. Football Profit System is the latest football betting system. It teaches you how to make consistent income from betting on football.

This Football betting system is specifically designed for maximum profit. Football profit system uses the concept of the Asian Handicap, which allows you to choose your favorite teams and an underdog teams for a football match. The following are some tips that you need to know for betting on football.

1) Understanding how to bet - In soccer betting, you could bet on the victory of visiting team or the home team, or you could bet on drawn result. Also, you should also be able to bet on over and under goals which based on the total goals of a soccer game.

2) Recording all of your bets - By recording every single one of your bets, you can identify the patterns. Record keeping also keeps you disciplined and discourages your unavoidable lost from frolicsome fun bets.

3) Specializing only in a few leagues - Stick with the leagues that you know, and learn those leagues inside out. You can't be an expert in every league even if you had all the time in the world.

4) Checking the history of wins versus losses between the two teams in the previous several encounters and also the records of the teams on home and away ground - Some certain teams invariably play better on home ground while some others play better on away ground.

5) Controlling your loss is extremely important in Football betting - There is no method or systems that could continue to win every game, even Football profit system also have about 5% losing rate. A successful football bettor has a plan of action. He learns how to tackle his emotions as well as personal problems out of his decisions. He only uses a few good betting  systems.

A lot of bettors have lost hundreds of dollars investing in the wrong betting systems. You should always make sure that the product you purchase has money back guarantee. Football profit system comes with money back guarantee. Just get the refund if you not completely happy with the results.

Football Betting Master Review - Is This Really the Best "Betting Football" System?

The Football betting Master System has generated a lot of hype online recently. It is a betting guide that works on every football league in the world and more importantly, requires only a small starting bet amount to work.

1. Does The Football betting Master System Really Make Money?

From its results so far, it is clear that it has been generating some consistent profits during the months that it is used. In the guide itself, the system is broken up into steps that make it easy for anyone, regardless of their prior betting experience, to be able to follow and profit from the guide.

2. What Is The Football betting Master Guide All About?

This football bets guide has been perfected after 2 years. Its owners are also offering the service of providing tips to their subscribers, especially for those who do not have the time to run the methods through every day. The owner of this system has also revealed proof of how he managed to generate more than 800 percent profits during his 2 years of using his own betting method.

3. Is The Football betting Master System Really Worth the Money to Pay for the Subscription Fees?

The main one-year membership costs about L129 in total to purchase, with the option to join a L19 per month membership that delivers email tips and what to bet if you do not have the time to run the system yourself to find your bets manually. In my opinion, you should still read through the PDF guide even if you are only intending to follow the email tips so that you can understand exactly how it works and have the confidence and discipline to follow the tips. In addition, you will also gain complete access to a blog that is always updated with the latest football news and the coming 2010 World Cup.

Betting Football

The only sure thing in fantasy football is that there are no sure things. I've been competing for years and have yet to revel in the glory of holding up that golden, championship fantasy trophy over my head despite the fact that every year I sit back in my chair following my draft, scan my roster, and think, "This is my year. This roster is a sure thing."

Let's examine some of my previous first round "sure things" over the last three years. In 2005, I went against the grain and took a QB. Not just any QB though, the surest of "sure things," Peyton Manning. Result: I traded him mid-season for a running back and finished dead last in my league. Championship team's first pick: Corey Dillon.

In 2006, I had the first overall pick! No way was I thinking outside the box this year! I was sticking to correct drafting formula and taking a RB! Who would be a better choice than last year's reigning MVP, Shaun Alexander? He was obviously a "sure thing." Result: Alexander injured his knee mid-season and I was left relying on DeShaun Foster. I finished in fifth place. Championship team's first pick: Clinton Portis.

Last year, I was still determined to stick with a RB despite my poor luck with Alexander. I had an early pick and the obvious "sure thing" choice was Steven Jackson. A dominant running back that was in line for an MVP-worthy season. Result: Jackson was also injured mid-season and I missed the play-offs by one game. Championship team's first pick: Brian Westbrook.

I'm preparing myself and everyone for their drafts this year by teaching from my past mistakes and realizing there is no such thing as a "sure thing." In fact, maybe I'll change things up this year and draft a wide receiver in the first round. That's not a half bad idea! I bet Randy Moss is a "sure thing" ...I'll never learn.

Advice Bet Football - Free Expert Football Betting Advice

Advice bet football is short for learning the best advice for every football bet you are wagering. It takes time to make a consistent income betting on NFL lines, but finding the right sports handicapper for all your picks could be the best thing to ever happen to you. For a low monthly fee of $50.00 or less, you can find a professional sports handicapper to give you expert picks with a winning percentage of 82% or bettor. Not only do professional sports handicappers guarantee a winning percentage of 82% or better, there are a few of them that will give you a full refund if you do not profit for the month.

The great thing about a professional sports handicapper is that you will be consistently winning 82% of all your picks or better and wagering a tax free football bet. Every single win results in your money being placed instantly inside your sports book account. From inside your sports book account you are able to cash out instantly right into your bank account within 2-3 business days. When using a professional sports handicapper for all your picks you will more than likely be betting on a football spread bet. A football spread bet is a type of bet where you will be given a spread that needs to be covered in order to win that game. For example, lets take 2 random NFL teams. The Dallas Cowboys vs the Green Bay Packers. The game is being played in Dallas and the Dallas Cowboys will be a -3.5 point favorite. What that means is that if you pick the Dallas Cowboys to win the game, they must win by at least 4 points! If you pick the Green Bay Packers to win the game, they can lose by 3 points and you still win! This is by far the best online football bet because once you master the NFL point spreads there is no telling how much money you will be rolling in.

Personally, paying for a sports handicapper is a MUST. You are guaranteed to profit month after month. The more money you invest, the more money you will win every single month. You need to start out with an X amount of money the first month. You turn that X amount of money into Z amount of money. You take your Z amount of money (all your profits for the month) and use that for all your future bets. Place your X amount of money back into your bank, and now from this point forward you will be ONLY playing with profit money. Profit money is the best kind of money you could ever play with because even if you lose, you actually don't lose a thing. Now you can bet football USA games all day and earn a consistent living with just your profits! Its guaranteed money and some people choose not to follow it for unknown reasons. I hope you start believing in betting NFL lines and eventually quit your day job because of all the profits rolling in! I wish you the best of luck!

Bet Football Today - Make a Stable Income Betting on Sports

The NFL season is just around the corner and it is time to bet football today! betting on football is one of the greatest ways to earn a stable income right in the comfort of your own home.

So what is the best place bet on football?

The best place to bet on football by far is through an online sportsbook. Not only do you get a huge bonus for signing up, you can place bets right in the comfort of your own home anytime you want 24/7. For example, if you deposit 100 bucks for the up-and-coming football season, you get a free 100 dollars just for signing up! Now you have 200 dollars to wager with. If you find a bookie to place your wagers with, there is no way your getting a 100% deposit bonus. Also when you want to cash out, you click one button and the money is in your bank account in 3-4 days. You absolutely can't beat this and if you have a great NFL football bet system in place there is no way you can't earn a stable income betting online.

When placing football bet you need to pay attention to the NFL betting  lines. They change quite frequently and the best time to get a line is usually on Monday, right after all the NFL Sunday games. Take a look on Monday when you want to bet football today. You can get some great college football lines and NFL lines for cheap. With the use of an online sports book, bet on football game or even bet football internet sport has never been so easy. You can place a bet within 1 minute of the start of the game. The NFL betting lines are constantly changing and looking for the right line to take advantage of is the best thing you could ever do. betting lines for NFL games is one of the most profitable sports which I profited over 100K last year myself! I made roughly 80k on football, and 20k on all other sports last year.

Football, especially an American football bet is the single most profitable risk you could ever take. There will be many college football preseason polls and or even many people giving their fantasy football predictions out there on the internet. This all helps in deciding your sports pick, but the only true way to go is to get a professional sports handicapper. I found a professional sports handicapper over a year ago and it has led me to quitting my day job, buying a new house, a new car, and living it up like a rock star. You can do this to betting on sports. Using an online sports book you can bet on fantasy football predictions, top fantasy football players, fantasy football strategies, etc...anything you want you can bet on it online! I wish you the best of luck deciding on how you want to bet on sports and where to find your picks! If you as lucky as I was, you can find an amazing sports handicapper for under 50 bucks a month!

Back to football

Every player, coach and fan is ready.

The NFL returns this week. It’s “Back to Football” time. That means the next five months will be packed with the sizzle and suspense that comes only with the National Football League.

Everybody is ready for the unique unpredictability of the NFL. And every team enters the new season with hope.

Last year, 65 percent of the games were within one score (eight points or fewer) in the fourth quarter. Fourteen percent were decided in the final two minutes or overtime. And for the 14th consecutive year, at least five teams made the playoffs after missing out the year before, including the Super Bowl XLIV champion New Orleans Saints.

All the anticipation that started with the NFL Combine last February, heightened by the NFL Draft in April, and peaked with the opening of training camps in July comes to realization this weekend. It’s time to get “Back to Football.”

As the 2010 NFL season kicks off, it comes packed with changes, quests and questions:

CAN THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPION SAINTS REPEAT?:

It’s tough. It’s happened only eight times since the first Super Bowl in 1967. But the Saints are up for the challenge. “It’s going to be difficult to repeat,” says New Orleans quarterback and Super Bowl XLIV MVP DREW BREES, “but we embrace that challenge. We’re in the business of winning and we have an opportunity to create a legacy here that’s not just about one championship. We see what we have here and it’s something that can be really special.”

SUPER STARTERS:

History indicates that the best way for a team to start its drive toward a possible Super Bowl championship is to win in Week 1.

The 44 Super Bowl winners have a 36-7-1 record in the Kickoff Weekend games of their title seasons.

Since 1978, when the NFL adopted the 16-game schedule, and excluding the abbreviated season of 1982, teams that are victorious on Kickoff Weekend are more than twice as likely to reach the playoffs than losers of their opening game:

Of the 458 teams which won openers … 243 went to the playoffs (142 won division titles).

Of the 458 teams which lost openers … 107 went to the playoff (60 won division titles).

In 2009, 10 of the 12 playoff teams – Baltimore, Dallas, Green Bay, Indianapolis, Minnesota, New England, New Orleans, New York Jets, Philadelphia, and San Diego – were victorious on Kickoff Weekend.

MILESTONES ON THE HORIZON:

Records are made to be broken … So what records will be set this season? Some milestones that can be reached this season: Minnesota QB BRETT FAVRE needs three TD passes to become the first player in NFL history with 500 and needs 671 passing yards to be the first to reach 70,000 … Indianapolis QB PEYTON MANNING can become the first quarterback with 11 4,000-yard seasons and needs 1,348 passing yards to move into third place all-time … New York Jets RB LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON can extend his NFL-record streak of consecutive 10 rush-TD seasons to begin a career to 10 … Tennessee RB CHRIS JOHNSON (11 100-yard games in a row) needs 100 rushing yards in each of his next four games for the most consecutive 100-yard rush games (15) in NFL history … New England WR RANDY MOSS & Cincinnati WR TERRELL OWENS need two and six receiving TDs respectively to join JERRY RICE as the only players with 150 receiving TDs … Houston WR ANDRE JOHNSON can become the first player in NFL history with three consecutive 1,500-yard receiving seasons … Atlanta’s TONY GONZALEZ needs one catch to become the first TE in NFL history with 1,000 receptions … And Green Bay’s CHARLES WOODSON needs one interception-return touchdown to become the third player in NFL history with at least 10 INT-TDs.

NEW COACHES/PLAYERS IN NEW PLACES:

There are three new head coaches in 2010 – PETE CARROLL in Seattle, CHAN GAILEY in Buffalo and MIKE SHANAHAN in Washington. Last year, new head coaches enjoyed success as JIM CALDWELL of Indianapolis and REX RYAN of the New York Jets led their teams to the AFC Championship Game.

And there are a lot of well-known players with new teams, including DONOVAN MC NABB with the Redskins; JULIUS PEPPERS with the Bears; KARLOS DANSBY & BRANDON MARSHALL with the Dolphins; ANQUAN BOLDIN with the Ravens; ANTONIO CROMARTIE, SANTONIO HOLMES, JASON TAYLOR & LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON with the Jets; TERRELL OWENS with the Bengals; THOMAS JONES with the Chiefs; JAKE DELHOMME with the Browns; DUNTA ROBINSON with the Falcons; and ANTREL ROLLE with the Giants.

ON-THE-FIELD TRENDS:

Passing soared … running backs impressed … versatile players continued to give defensive coordinators fits … and surprise teams continued to emerge.

Net passing yards (111,853) were the highest ever and games averaged 436.9 pass yards, the second-most in history … Ten QBs passed for 4,000 yards, 12 threw for 25 TDs and five had a passer rating of at least 100.0 – all NFL records … Tennessee RB CHRIS JOHNSON became the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards (2,006) and broke the single-season scrimmage yards mark (2,509) … Carolina RBs JONATHAN STEWART (1,133) & DE ANGELO WILLIAMS (1,117) became the first set of teammates to each rush for 1,100 yards in a season … Three players – Buffalo’s FRED JACKSON, Cleveland’s JOSHUA CRIBBS and Tennessee’s Johnson – totaled over 2,500 combined yards, matching the total that had accomplished the feat in the previous 89 seasons … The Super Bowl champion Saints rebounded to win the NFC South after a last-place finish in 2008, the NFL-record seventh consecutive year a team went from “worst-to-first” in its division … And there were five new division winners on the heels of a record-tying six in 2008 (since realignment in 2002).

NEW RULES:

There are several new rules in 2010, with the primary focus on enhancing player safety … Existing unnecessary roughness rules have been standardized and protection for defenseless players has been expanded, including additional safeguards for defenseless players who have just completed a catch from blows to the head or neck by an opponent who launches, and long snappers … If a ball carrier’s helmet comes off during a play, the ball will immediately be blown dead … If there is a dead-ball personal foul by either team following the end of the second or fourth quarter, the penalty yardage will be enforced on the second-half or overtime kickoff … Two adjustments were made to instant replay: 1. If there is not an on-field ruling that a ball strikes a video board, guide wire, sky cam or other object, the replay assistant may now initiate a booth review. 2. If a replay review inside of one minute of either half results in the on-field ruling being reversed and the correct ruling would not have stopped the game clock, then there will be a 10-second runoff before the ball is put back in play … In addition to numbers 60-79 and 90-99, defensive lineman are now permitted to wear jersey numbers 50-59. Also, players who switch positions are no longer required to switch jersey numbers if the change is from an ineligible position to another ineligible position or from an eligible position to another eligible position … The penalty yardage for interference when a kicking team player attempts to catch a muffed kick has been eliminated.

During the postseason, the NFL will use a modified sudden death overtime format. Teams will now have the opportunity to possess the ball at least once in the extra period unless the team that receives the overtime kickoff scores a touchdown on its first possession.

There will also be points of emphasis on several existing rules … Good sportsmanship will continue to be emphasized. The use of abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures directed at an opponent or an opponent’s bench is considered taunting and will result in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty … All rules that encourage player safety will continue to be strictly enforced, including unnecessary roughness, chop blocks, clipping and illegal blocks below the waist on a change of possession.

There will also be one change in mechanics for NFL game officials … The initial position of NFL umpires will now be in the offensive backfield opposite the referee. The most important factor in considering this move is the safety of the umpire.

THE INTERNATIONAL NFL:

For the fourth consecutive year, the NFL will play a regular-season overseas game in the United Kingdom when the San Francisco 49ers face the Denver Broncos at London’s Wembley Stadium on October 31. LeBron's return to Cleveland a prime spot

Prime SpotPosted on August 4, 2010 by CindU It might be one of the most eagerly anticipated games the NBA has known. Just don’t ask Cavaliers coach Byron Scott about what it might be like when a house packed with spurned Cleveland fans greets star Miami forward — for seven years, the Cavaliers’ star forward –LeBron James.

“No, we are not going to get into that, we are not circling any games or going for revenge,” Scott told Sporting News. “There are 82 games on the schedule and we’re not going to go out of our way to worry about that one.”

Apparently, neither is the NBA. The league released the highlights of its schedule on Tuesday (the rest will come out next week), and oneof the most notable aspects of the big-game slate is that it does not include the Heat visiting Cleveland. Commissioner David Stern has admitted to being a bit put off by the assemblingof the Heat’s new James-Dwyane Wade-Chris Bosh superteam, and apparently, he doesn’t want to showcase James’ jilting of the Cavaliers by giving Miami at Cleveland a prime spot on the calendar.

That’s not to say the Heat’s star status isn’t a major selling point on the league’s early schedule — in fact, they pop up three times, including the season opener and the marquee Christmas Day matchup. In all, 20 games were announced, and some promise to be especially intriguing.

Oct. 26: Miami at Boston. This will mark the debut of the Heat’s new power-packed trio, and they’ll go up against the defending East champs, the Celtics. There is added intrigue here, because folks with the Celtics have taken offense to the showy introduction given to James, Wade and Bosh — even coach Doc Rivers suggested that it was the first time he’d seen a championship parade before the season started.

Oct. 26: Houston at L.A. Lakers. If there is a sign that the Western Conference is in flux below the top spot, it’s the fact that the NBA chose the Rockets to go against the Lakers in the second halfof the opening night doubleheader. Houston has the potential to be very good, but with Yao Ming again returning from injury, it can’t be considered a real threat to the Lakers. But then, no one in the West is a threat to the Lakers.

Oct. 27: Portland at L.A. Clippers. At long last, it is the debut of former No. 1 pick Blake Griffin, who missed last year with a knee injury and will be considered a rookie this year. If he’s looking for someone to chat about knee injuries, Blazers center Greg Oden will be on hand.

Oct. 28: Washington at Orlando. This year’s No. 1 pick, John Wall, will make his debut. Wall is known for his ability to drive the paint, but he probably hasn’t seen a guy like Dwight Howard in the paint before.

Dec. 25: Miami at L.A. Lakers. No surprise that this is the prime game on the NBA’s schedule this year. Miami likely will get off to a good start, and you can bet that the Lakers will not be pleased with the amount of attention the Heat will draw. Expect a grudge match.

Ten NFL players

Every year a certain amount of pressure faces each NFL player. Each year some more than others. Ten player starts the season 2010 with more pressure than the average man, playing a lively, football deserves. Here is the list:

Usually no guy who rushed for more than 2,000 yards has face much pressure next year mainly because nobody expects to meet or exceed its Vollendungen.Johnson, has drawn but no punches; he has repeatedly said he plans to 2,500 M in the coming season to overthrow, would break the record of a season of nearly 400 yards.

And Johnson has the pressure of more than 156 begrüßt.Eine bad results of his search which UPD look it would yards per game average as just another can not athlete who running his mouth and secure.

One year removed from a major knee injury chair Brady via a careful campaign that a division title, followed by a prompt led exit from the playoffs with a thumping in the Ravens.

In 2010 Brady enters the last year of his Vertrages. In come 2011 to cash, reduced it must continue at a high level despite a something to play depth chart on the offensive.

More importantly, he needs to stay healthy.

If he fails on two fronts, this huge dollar deal that everyone takes, it will not happen always.

With the jets, already entitled to the Super Bowl 45 trophy each crippling pressure to deliver stands.

And the weakest link in the chain is probably the most important position.

Sánchez struggled through long ranges of his rookie season, and he missed much of the offseason practices such as he continues to Aknee violation Reha.Noch, many of them out, he'll just reinforced his game and be good enough to lead the jets to a Championship.

Maybe he will but this assumption a ton pressure on Sanchez placed.

Click for the first time in recent memory extended memory, and perhaps, a starting point NFL quarterback will play prevented because despite perfectly healthy sein.Und so if Roethlisberger from returns its suspension, Thepressure land squarely on his shoulders to play again immediately at high level.

The fact that give it the Steelers advanced repetitions while training camp means Byron Leftwich and/or Dennis Dixon is not so could be prepared as you replace Röthlisberger, meaning one rather the Steelers or more of the four (or six) games Röthlisberger misses lose werden.Und it is Morepressure on Röthlisberger, to win games after he back.

Donovan McNabb from the Philly is the task of Kolb.Obwohl he the first quarterback in the League history was to start his career with consecutive 300 yard games, must now Kolb challenge defensive coordinators, the game plan for him, a process that tends to catch up with initial launch of quarterbacks after five or six games if enough film generated weaknesses are detected and used.

And he must do it with one of the most vocal and fans demanding bases in all sports his watch every move.

When Kolb performs well, is he managed to shake off some incredibly strong pressure.

But last season by Peterson for several early fumbles, probably the team would have the Vikings, a combination of recklessness seems independent of the reason - and the visit to the White House instead of the Holy. currently in pressed that the ball fight for an extra yard or two, and knowledge of opponent's defence, that there is merit in try punch to be - Peterson's inability to secure the ball has dramatically compromised the team interest.

In 2010 he needs a way to his desire to score on each game with the impact of the keep the ball held by his team find balance.

Meanwhile, it requires the type of the season as one of the top running backs will confirm its status in the game.

Maybe Cromartie was intended, beitreten. Was would otherwise explain the jets to try to tackle each Member of the team offense while playing against the jets in the 2009-playoffs his chronic refusal?

Cromartie must prove in 2010 to 2008 and 2009 aberrations were, and that his Pro Bowl performance reflects its true capabilities in 2007.

And he may 1 corner in New York do as the number, provided to maintain Kilning table of Revis out.

Five years after the first overall pick in the draft and earn the starting job in San Francisco and lose and it to get back to Smith finally on his last chance is.

In his sixth year Smith must the 49ers lead through a mediocre NFC West, and press a team with a stout defence and a potent racing game in the postseason.

If he fails, it will start time for Smith, scouting depth charts in the UFL.

The Cardinals Starter turned to backup - turned - Starter is quiet, eingeben.Er threw his fifth NFL season 377 passes as a rookie and tried only 218 since then.

Kurt Warner, who two seasons bounced Leinart on the bench for the last, now gone calls to show Leinart his last chance, he can lead a NFL team.

Leinart for the same reasons that Alex Smith his last chance is facing is to chew the last straw of his career.

The Saints ' starting quarterback a great passer and a better leader geworden. In this year he will have to regain the attention of a band of brothers that advanced victory was lap, party have finally earlier this week in a trip to the White House, more than a week in training camp climax.

It is not easy when it comes sein.Mit 31 of other franchises that want to do what the saints have only achieved and more than a few of the Saints, which certainly somewhat complacent and/or disinterested feeling, to achieve the ultimate team Brees to forget the focus in 2009 and 2010.

Riding on his ability to do it is if he can a Super Bowl parlay victory in his ninth NFL season in a Hall of Fame CV.

NFL betting season

September 9, 2010 by CindUGonna have to go with the handicappers on this one. A recent ESPN The Magazine poll had 29.6 percent of NFL players who responded (anonymously, of course) picking New Orleans to repeat. But I’m looking around at some of the biggest names in sports gambling, and the Saints are nowhere to be found.

I’ll tell you who keeps popping up on their radar screen, though: the Minnesota Vikings. And the Super Bowl betting odds are moving in that direction: The Vikings have tightened up from 11-1 at the open to 10-1, while the Saints have dropped from 7-1 to 8-1.

Lo and behold, these are the two teams who will open the 2010 regular season this Thursday night at the Superdome. This is Week 1, so the lines are a bit uncertain – some have New Orleans laying 41 points as we go to press, others are at -5 or -51. The incumbent champions are definitely getting the benefit of the doubt here. Early market reports show 79 percent of NFL bettors pounding New Orleans on the pointspread; however, 74 percent prefer Minnesota at around +200 on the football money line.

You could argue that the Vikings should have won the last time they met. That was during the 2009 NFC Championship Game, when they lost to New Orleans 31-28 in overtime as 4-point road dogs. Most people will remember Brett Favre throwing an interception with under a minute to play in regulation and the ball tantalizingly close to field goal range. The Vikings and Saints had traded touchdowns up to that point, swinging away like a pair of heavyweight boxers. New Orleans won the coin toss in overtime and delivered the final blow – an anticlimactic jab, really, courtesy of kicker Garrett Hartley from 40 yards out.

We have every reason to expect another close one on Thursday. The 2009 Vikings won the NFC North at 12-4 (9-6-1 ATS); the 2009 Saints won the NFC South at 13-3 (8-8 ATS). The 2010 model looks very much the same for both teams. The Vikings are still led by Favre, who was mostly mistake-free last year with 33 touchdown throws and just seven interceptions, while Drew Brees (34 TDs, 11 INTs) is still in charge of the Saints.

New Orleans had some room to improve on defense, so ends Alex Brown and Jimmy Wilkerson have been brought in to shore up the trenches. However, there’s a problem at linebacker to start the new season. Scott Fujita signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Browns; Jonathan Casillas, his would-be replacement on the weak side, is out for the year with a Lisfranc fracture. Stanley Arnoux is next on the depth chart, but he didn’t practice Monday because of a high ankle sprain that’s been dogging him the past three weeks.

The Saints have responded by signing a familiar face: Danny Clark, who was with the team in 2006 and was released by the Houston Texans on Sunday. Clark is a strong-side linebacker with some experience in the middle, but New Orleans needs depth across the board right now. Linebacker Clint Ingram is on the PUP list after having microfracture surgery on his knee, and linebacker Jonathan Vilma was limited in practice Monday with a right groin injury.

Add the loss of free safety Darren Sharper (knee) to the PUP list, and Favre should have ample space to throw at. But the concern with the Vikings is at wide receiver, where Sidney Rice (hip) is also on the PUP list after leading the team last year with 83 catches. WR/KR Percy Harvin (60 catches) has been suffering from migraines and had to be hospitalized at one point, but he says he’s “ready to play ball” on Thursday. He’d better be, because the only other wideouts left on Minnesota’s 53-man roster are Bernard Berrian, Greg Camarillo and Greg Lewis. Javon Walker was let go on Saturday.

It still looks even on paper. That +200 money line bet is probably drawing some sharps, but if you see the Vikings losing by a field goal again, there’s room for that in the pointspread. Now let’s play some football already.

Scoring More BIG wins this week…

Spanish La Liga season preview

The 2010/2011 Spanish La Liga season begins this weekend, so here’s everything you need to know about every club competing in the division ahead of the new campaign.

FC Barcelona

Last season; Champions (31-6-1)
Most goals; Lionel Messi (34)
Most assists; Xavi (14)

Key Ins
David Villa (Valencia), Javier Mascherano (Liverpool), Adriano Correia (FC Sevilla)
Key Outs
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan – Loan), Yaya Toure (Manchester City), Dmytro Chygrynskiy (Shakhtar Donetsk), Thierry Henry (New York Red Bulls), Rafael Marquez (New York Red Bulls), Martin Caceres (FC Sevilla – Loan)

Coach; Josep Guardiola
Key player; Lionel Messi
Player to watch; Pedro

Barcelona had a near-perfect campaign last term, but there’s been some big-name departures. Toure leaving is the main blow but Mascherano replaces him. Beyond that, the main core of the side which led Barca to the title remains. The question is, is there enough hunger to hold off Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid? With players like Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta along with new man David Villa it’s hard to say no.

Sports Pundit prediction; Champions

Real Madrid

Last season; Runners-up (31-3-4)
Most goals; Gonzalo Higuain (27)
Most assists; Guti & Marcelo (9)

Key Ins
Mesut Oezil (Werder Bremen), Angel di Maria (Benfica), Sami Khedira (VfB Stuttgart), Ricardo Carvalho (Chelsea), Sergio Canales (Racing Santander), Pedro Leon (Getafe)
Key Outs
Guti (Besiktas), Raul (Schalke 04), Christoph Metzelder (Schalke 04)

Coach; Jose Mourinho
Key player; Cristiano Ronaldo
Player to watch; Mesut Oezil

Plenty of money has been spent again at the Bernabeu this European summer but the biggest change in Madrid is the arrival of ‘the Special One’ Jose Mourinho who takes the reins at Real. His presence alone is a major boost to their title ambitions but the addition of World Cup sensations di Maria and Oezil bolsters a strong squad. This could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s season after a disappointing World Cup.

Sports Pundit prediction; Runners-up

Valencia

Last season; 3rd (21-8-9)
Most goals; David Villa (21)
Most assists; Ever Banega (8)

Key Ins
Roberto Soldado (Getafe), Mehmet Topal (Galatasaray), Aritz Aduriz (Mallorca), Ricardo Costa (Lille), Alberto Costa (Montpellier), Sofiane Feghouli (Grenoble)
Key Outs
David Villa (FC Barcelona), David Silva (Manchester City), Nikola Zigic (Birmingham City), Carlos Marchena (Villarreal), Alexis Ruano (FC Sevilla), Asier del Horno (Levante – Loan)

Coach; Unai Emery
Key player; Juan Mata
Player to watch; Roberto Soldado

The big news at the Mestalla has been the departure of gun duo David Villa and David Silva. It leaves Valencia’s ambitions severely decreased, but they’ve made some shrewd signings, particularly Aduriz and Soldado, who should inspire them to a top four spot. But Villa scored over a third of their La Liga goals last term and will take some replacing.

Sports Pundit prediction; 5th

Sevilla FC

Last season; 4th (19-6-13)
Most goals; Luis Fabiano (15)
Most assists; Jesus Navas (9)

Key Ins
Martin Caceres (FC Barcelona – Loan), Tiberio Guarente (Atalanta Bergamo), Alexis Ruano (Valencia), Mouhamadou Dabo (Saint-Etienne), Luca Cigarini (Napoli – Loan)
Key Outs
Adriano Correia (FC Barcelona), Sebastien Squillaci (Arsenal), Lolo (Osasuna), Marius Stankevicius (Sampdoria – Loan Return)

Coach; Antonio Alvarez
Key player; Jesus Navas
Player to watch; Alvaro Negredo

It’s been an unusually low-key summer for the usually-ambitious Andalucians who will be eyeing off a Champions League spot after failing in qualifying this season. The departure of defensive rock Squillaci leaves Alvarez with a dilemma at the back, especially considering the club’s new signings aren’t ready-made replacements. But with Luis Fabiano, Jesus Navas and Fredi Kanoute they’ve got enough quality to push for the best-of-the-rest third spot.

Sports Pundit prediction; 3rd

Atletico Madrid

Last season; 9th (13-8-17)
Most goals; Diego Forlan (18)
Most assists; Diego Forlan (6)

Key Ins
Filipe Luis (Deportivo Coruna), Diego Godin (Villarreal), Mario Suarez (Mallorca), Fran Merida (Arsenal)
Key Outs
Roberto Jimenez (Benfica)

Coach; Quique Sanchez Flores
Key player; Diego Forlan
Player to watch; Sergio Aguero

Last season’s Europa League winners will look forward to concentrating on La Liga under Quique Sanchez Flores this term. Diego Forlan is their barometer but tightening up their defence (after shipping 61 goals last season) will be crucial to their success, hence Filipe Luis and Diego Godin’s arrival.

Sports Pundit prediction; 4th

Villareal
Last season; 7th (16-8-14)
Most goals; Nilmar (11)
Most assists; Ariel Ibagaza & Nilmar (5)

Key Ins
Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Borja Valero (West Bromwich), Jozy Altidore (Hull City – Loan Return)
Key Outs
Ariel Ibagaza (Olympiacos), Joseba Llorente (Real Sociedad), Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid), Damian Escudero (Boca Juniors), Ivan Marcano (Getafe – Loan), Sebastian Eguren (Gijon), Robert Pires

Coach; Juan Carlos Garrido
Key player; Santi Cazorla
Player to watch; Nilmar

There’s been plenty of changes for the Yellow Submarine in the past 12 months, but unfortunately it hasn’t brought the desired effect. Marchena and Valero’s arrival will boost their stocks, but it’s hard to see a significant improvement.

Sports Pundit prediction; 8th

Deportivo la Coruna

Last season; 10th (13-8-17)
Most goals; Riki (8)
Most assists; Juan Carlos Valeron & Andres Guardado (5)

Key Ins
Claudio Morel Rodriguez (Boca Juniors), Ruben Perez (Atletico Madrid – Loan), Stopira (Santa Clara), Michel Herrero (Valencia – Loan), Felipe Ramos (Real Madrid Castilla)
Key Outs
Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid), Mista (Toronto FC), Sergio Gonzalez (Levante), Rodolfo Bodipo (Vaslui – Loan), Ruben Castro (Betis)

Coach; Miguel Angel Lotina
Key player; Andres Guardado
Player to watch; Adrian

Lotina does not have the resources which were once enjoyed at the Riazor, but pressing for Europe is still a realistic ambition. Morel is a useful addition to their tight defence but there’s not much to suggest they’ll go further than midtable.

Sports Pundit prediction; 9th

Mallorca

Last season; 5th (18-8-12)
Most goals; Aritz Aduriz (12)
Most assists; Borja Valero & Gonzalo Castro (8)

Key Ins
Fernando Cavenaghi (Bordeaux – Loan), Jonathan de Guzman (Feyenoord), Edson Ramos (Bunyodkor), Joao Victor (Bunyodkor)
Key Outs
Aritz Aduriz (Valencia), Mario Suarez (Atletico Madrid), Julio Alvarez (Tenerife), Felipe Mattioni (Espanyol)

Coach; Michael Laudrup
Key player; Dudu Aouate
Player to watch; Gonzalo Castro

Financial woes have hurt Mallorca during the summer losing key players like Aduriz, Suarez and Alvarez. Laudrup arrives to steady the ship but he’s got a tough job ahead keeping them in the top-half.

Sports Pundit prediction; 11th

Atletic Bilbao

Last season; 8th (15-9-14)
Most goals; Fernando Llorente (14)
Most assists; Igor Gabilondo & Fernando Llorente (5)

Key Ins
Mikel San Jose (Liverpool)
Key Outs
Joseba Etxeberria (retired), Francisco Yeste (Al Wasl), Inaki Munoz (Cartagena)

Coach; Joaquin Caparros
Key player; Fernando Llorente
Player to watch; Gaizka Toquero

Stability is the key in the Basque country and they’ve got in under Caparros who took them to a top-half finish last term. They’ve got the platform to build on too.

Sports Pundit prediction; 6th
Getafe

Last season; 6th (17-7-14)
Most goals; Roberto Soldado (16)
Most assists; Pedro Leon (9)

Key Ins
Adrian Colunga (Recreativo), Javier Arizmendi (Zaragoza), Victor Sanchez (FC Barcelona – Loan), Ivan Marcano (Villarreal – Loan)
Key Outs
Pedro Leon (Real Madrid), Roberto Soldado (Valencia), Adrian Gonzalez (Racing Santander), David Belenguer (Betis), David Cortes (Hercules)

Coach; Michel
Key player; Dani Parejo
Player to watch; Adrian Colunga

After last season’s dizzying heights, Getafe have lost some key men in Soldado and Leon, which is a worry.

Sports Pundit prediction; 14th

Espanyol

Last season; 11th (11-11-16)
Most goals; Pablo Daniel Osvaldo (7)
Most assists; Fernando Marques (5)

Key Ins
Jesus Datolo (Napoli – Loan), Sergio Garcia (Real Betis), Felipe Mattioni (Mallorca)
Key Outs
Raul Tamudo (Real Sociedad), Nicolas Parejo (Spartak Moscow), Fernando Marques (Parma), Ben Sahar (Hapoel Tel Aviv – Loan), Moises Hurtado (Olympiacos), Facundo Roncaglia (Boca Juniors – Loan Return)

Coach; Mauricio Pochettino
Key player; Luis Garcia
Player to watch; Ivan de la Pena

The Catalans did well under Pochettino last term and should be able to push on.

Sports Pundit prediction; 7th

Osasuna

Last season; 12th (11-10-17)
Most goals; Walter Pandiani (11)
Most assists; Javier Camunas (7)

Key Ins
Lolo (FC Sevilla), Dejan Lekic (Red Star), Fernando Soriano (Almeria), Damia Abella (Real Betis), Asier Riesgo (Real Sociedad)
Key Outs
Cesar Azpilicueta (Marseille), Jorge Galan (Huesca – Loan), Dady (Bucaspor)

Coach; Jose Antonio Camacho
Key player; Walter Pandiani
Player to watch; Juanfran

Camacho should continue to build at Osasuna and with some handy additions another midtable finish is on the cards.

Sports Pundit prediction; 10th

Malaga

Last season; 17th (7-16-15)
Most goals; Duda (8)
Most assists; Duda (7)

Key Ins
Sebastian Fernandez (Banfield), Salomon Rondon (Las Palmas), Sandro Silva (Palmeiras), Quincy Owusu-Abeyie (Al Sadd), Javier Malagueno (Ciudad Juarez), Eliseu (Lazio), Edinho (PAOK – Loan Return), Rodrigo Palatto (Paranaense)
Key Outs
Victor Obinna (Inter Milan), Gustavo Munua (Levante), Milan Stepanov (FC Porto – Loan Return), Valdo (Espanyol – Loan Return), Felipe Caicedo (Manchester City – Loan Return)

Coach; Jesualdo Ferreira
Key player; Duda
Player to watch; Jesus Gamez

The arrival of ex-Porto boss Ferreira will fill Malaga with plenty of confidence. They’ve spent some money on Fernandez, Rondon and Silva and should push towards the top half.

Sports Pundit prediction; 12th

Sporting Gijon

Last season; 15th (9-13-16)
Most goals; Diego Castro Gimenez (10)
Most assists; Alberto Ramos, Diego Castro Gimenez & Miguel de las Cuevas (4)

Key Ins
Sebastian Eguren (Villarreal), Alberto Botia (FC Barcelona), Gaston Sangoy (Apollon Limassol), Ayoze Garcia (Tenerife), Nacho Novo (Rangers)
Key Outs
Kike Mateo (Elche), Jose Maldonado (Cartagena), Gerard (Xerez)

Coach; Manolo Preciado
Key player; Miguel de las Cuevas
Player to watch; Mate Bilic

Gijon have established themselves as a La Liga club nowadays and with some useful additions they’ll ease to survival.

Sports Pundit prediction; 13th

Almeria

Last season; 13th (10-12-16)
Most goals; Kalu Uche (9)
Most assists; Albert Crusat, Pablo Piatti & Juan Manuel Ortiz (4)

Key Ins
Marcelo Silva (Danubio), Diego Valeri (FC Porto – Loan), Miguel Angel Luque (FC Barcelona B), Leonardo Ulloa (CD Castellon), Michael Jakobsen (Aalborg)
Key Outs
Chico (Genoa), Fernando Soriano (Osasuna), Domingo (Santander), Guilherme Oliveira (Valladolid – Loan)

Coach; Juan Manuel Lillo
Key player; Pablo Piatti
Player to watch; Modeste M’Bami

There’s not been alot going on at Almeria this summer, but they’ve retained plenty of quality to ensure they’ll stay up although Soriano and Chico are big losses.

Sports Pundit prediction; 16th

Hercules CF

Last season; 2nd in Segunda Division (19-14-9)
Most goals; Ionel Danciulescu (10)

Key Ins
David Trezeguet (Juventus), Nelson Valdez (Dortmund), Abel Aguilar (Udinese), David Cortes (Getafe), Cristian Pulhac (Dinamo Bucuresti – Loan), Olivier Thomert (Le Mans), Mohamed Sarr (Standard Liege), Piet Velthuizen (Vitesse)
Key Outs
Ionel Danciulescu (Dinamo Bucuresti), Jorge Alonso (Valladolid), Gerardo Noriega (Recreativo)

Coach; Esteban Vigo
Key player; Nelson Valdez
Player to watch; Javier Portillo

Hercules come into La Liga after a good campaign and they’ve been boosted by some decent signings including Trezeguet, Valdez and Aguilar. They look more than capable.

Sports Pundit prediction; 15th

Racing Santander

Last season; 16th (9-12-17)
Most goals; Mohamed Tchite (11)
Most assists; Pedro Munitis (8)

Key Ins

Key Outs
Sergio Canales (Real Madrid), Toni Moral (Cartagena), Nasief Morris (Panathinaikos – Loan Return)

Coach; Miguel Angel
Key player; Luis Garcia
Player to watch; Pedro Munitis

The challenge will be there for Santander boss Miguel Angel as they hope to stay up again. Canales’ departure is a blow, while the additions aren’t overly encouraging.

Sports Pundit prediction; 19th

Real Sociedad

Last season; Champions in Segunda Division (20-14-8)
Most goals; Carlos Bueno (12)

Key Ins
Raul Tamudo (Espanyol), Joseba Llorente (Villarreal), Diego Ifran (Danubio), Jeffrey Sarpong (Ajax)
Key Outs
Asier Riesgo (Osasuna), Carlos Bueno (Penarol – Loan Return)

Coach; Martin Lasarte
Key player; Claudio Bravo
Player to watch; Raul Bravo

Sociedad come into the Spanish top flight feeling good and they’ve added forwards Tamudo and Llorente and should be able to stay up.

Sports Pundit prediction; 17th

Zaragoza

Last season; 14th (10-11-17)
Most goals; Adrian Colunga (7)
Most assists; Gabi, Jorge Lopez & Lafita (4)

Key Ins
Florent Sinama-Pongolle (Sporting Lisbon – Loan), Leo Franco (Galatasaray), Matteo Contini (Napoli), Nicolas Bertolo (Palermo – Loan)

Coach; Jose Aurelio Gay
Key player; Leo Franco
Player to watch; Florent Sinama-Pongolle

Zaragoza struggled to find reliable avenues to goal last seasons, so Suazo’s departure is a major blow and they’ll need to find a way if they’re to survive.

Sports Pundit prediction; 18th

Levante

Last season; 3rd in Segunda Division (19-14-9)
Most goals; Ruben Suarez & Javi Guerra (12)

Key Ins
Gustavo Munua (Malaga), Valdo (Espanyol), Javi Venta (Villarreal), Sergio Gonzalez (Deportivo Coruna), Asier del Horno (Valencia – Loan), Ignacio Gonzalez (Valencia – Loan), Xavi Torres (Malaga – Loan), Christian Stuani (Reggina – Loan)
Key Outs
Jorge Pina (Albacete), Daniel Carril (Las Palmas), Javi Guerra (Real Mallorca – Loan Return)

Coach; Luis Garcia Plaza
Key player; Gustavo Munua
Player to watch; Asier del Horno

After winning promotion, survival will be a tough ask for Levante. There’s plenty of new signings but probably not the quality needed especially with Javi Guerra heading back to Mallorca.
